I just got that URL from a post a newbie at the Starfury site made (which is against the rules since it's a rival con, but anyway). I'm going to sign up to receive information on this. I don't know if I would go even though I'd love to visit Sydney, which is the target location, but I'm sure some of the members here could make an attempt to get there.

do we know how legitimate it is? they copied info about convention from Starfury, they only proposing to hold a 2 or 3 day convention sometime in January and already they announced 2 guests?
damn, i wish i knew about it yesterday, i would ask Laurel at the farewell party

I'm still waiting to hear from them about the convention. I did notice that it sounded extremely similar to Starfury. Perhaps their managers could shed some light on this? If I knew how to reach them I would seriously ask if this is legit or not.

I'm very sure that the event is legitimate, as believe me, managers and actors will hear very quickly if an event is illegally advertising them.
I'm not surprised that Laurel and Rachel are the first two guests. The two are them are very supportive of the fans of the show, and are happy to support them in any way that they can.
